I cancelled my Vegas trip a few weeks back. May was my best month online this year in poker, but there has been some turbulence in my personal life. So i decided to stay home. Then i thought about going later this month, went back to not going. Decided to go the 14th as planned but shorten the trip, and then canceled. I have finally gotten on of my old paintings finished. It´s actually only the framing that i have done, but it was a special shape that i have made square instead, so it is kind of a closure. Went to the casino again yesterday to play in their 27 player tournament. Buyin was $160 so a little bigger than last week and there were around $2k for first prize. It was great to play again, and there were some really bad players at my table. It was amazing how many big pots there were all the time, and most were limbing, or calling big raises all the time. I havent played at the local casino for over a year. It´s a small crappy casino, and the reason why i dont play there is that the dealers just dident have a clue about the rules of a poker game back then. They have started to do some weekly tournaments though, so i thought that i would give it a shot. Been running pretty good at the tables the last week(s). It started with the Pokerstars tour where i finished 387th of 40864 players. After that i played a 180 players sit and go where where i did a nice recovery. To avoid the spoiler click here to watch the videos. No it is not a typo. Forty thousand eight hundred and sixty four players entered the special Pokerstars 40 billionth hand special tournament with a $1.000.000 guaranteed. The buyin was only $40 and with such a big interest the prizepool actually reached 1,5 mil with $120k for 1st prize. After around 8 hours i busted and finished 387th which i think was a pretty good result. No big payout though, but a great tournament and i wouldent be surprised if the tournament will be added as a regular sunday...
